A great video documenting the construction of Disneyland has been released. Totally, incredibly awesome.
Some priceless footage, much of it time-lapse, regarding the construction of Disneyland. Wish something like this was out there for the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Who knows, maybe there is, somewhere.

Just watched it all. Amazing to think the castle drawbridge actually goes up and down, but has rarely been raised or lowered. They seem to suggest it was raised and lowered for testing before opening day, and then during a Fantasyland rehabd during the early 80s. Crazy-amazing stuff.

Great stuff. Truly amazing. This one shows them building the Peter Pan Captain Hook boat, which was built where the Dumbo ride is now.
Admittedly, it was released about a year ago, but this is the first time I’ve come across it. And, of course, I had to share.

MTV tells us that Marvel is going to launch a 4 issue origin story for Black Widow to tie in with the new Iron Man 2 movie. I might actually buy a comic book for the first time in, like, ten years.

Apparently there was a lot of great Iron Man 2 footage at Comi-Con, including Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow kicking all sorts of butt, but not sign of said footage on the Internetz Tubez as of yet. Lemme know if you find something.

I’m looking much forward to this (Ironman 2) and Tron 2 the very most of anything right now. More stuff on Tron 2 from here. Well, I’m also looking forward to The Hobbit, but nothing on that thus far. Probably will be a lot on it at Comi-Con next year. So, cool.

Just one day after Jon Gosselin’s 22-year-old girlfriend/giance gushed about her romance with Jon Gosselin, it turns out he might have another girlfriend: Kate Major. Let’s just call her Kate 2.0, like the rest of the gossip press.
Kate is a reporter for Star Magazine. Apparently, she’s always wanted to be a tabloid story herself. Because now she is. Jeeze. Maybe it’s just better for Kate of Jon disappears. What a freak.

The film will feature at least three videos, including an alternative version of Jackson’s “Thriller,” which were shot to be interstitial programming during the London concerts. The footage was meant to play in 3-D, but it’s unclear as yet whether the feature film will present it that way.

In other news, teacher Heather Zeo is arrested for having sex with students. It’s a crazy world, these days. I tell you what.
I suppose we should feel bad for her students, but it’s hard to. Although I certainly don’t feel bad for her, either. Of course she’s going to get caught. I remember how many tall tales guys would tell about bedding the hot teacher when I was in school–chances are, if they had really had sex with the hot teacher, they’d post it on a billboard.
If you’re a teacher and you have sex with a student, you’re going to get found out. One way or another, that student is going to tell somebody, probably a lot of somebodies, and then it’s only a matter of time. Consider yourself warned, cute-but-naughty vixen teachers of America.
