Jesse Langseth Does Bette Davis Eyes and Advances on American Idol

I missed it. Actually, I forgot it was on. But apparently, Jesse Langseth gave them a mediocre version of “Bette Davis Eyes”. We watched the DVD of City of Ember instead. Not bad.

Also, from the same guys, is a kinda effed-up version of Blondie’s “Dreaming”. Not that you care, but there ya go!

Paul Goodspeed Found Dead Outside Paul Abdul’s Home

American Idol contestant Paul Goodspeed was found dead not-too-far from Paula Abdul’s home.

 

Paula Goodspeed, Apparently.

Apparently, she was a big fan of Paula Abdul, and her audition did not go well, as far as I can suss out from the news reports. I never watch American Idol. I got sucked into a bit back in the Kelly Clarkson era, and again when Taylor Hicks was rockin’ it, but that’s about it.

More from the Vancouver Sun. In case you didn’t know, Paula Abdul is responsible for one of the greatest songs of the eighties, “Straight Up”.

Man, I love that song.

In other news, Mitch Mitchell, the drummer for the Jimi Hendrix Experience, has died at age 61. 

 

Mitch Mitchell, the final living member of the famed Jimi Hendrix, is now jamming with Hendrix at that Big Rock Concert in the Sky.

American Idol Dominates The News

 

American Idol’s Jennifer Hudson is Living a Tragedy.

First, there was the tragedy with Jennifer Hudson. They just had the memorial service. Jennifer can’t go into her house. Apparently, the gun used to murder her family has been found. Hopefully, the police are well on their way to bringing the perps to justice.

Diagan DeGarmo. Apparently, being on American Idol tends to cause more trouble than it's worth.

Next, some nutburger was stalking Diana DeGarmo. The stalker’s name is Tanya Maree Quattrocchi. Now, that’s a mouth full. Either there’s a curse on American Idol contestants, or, I dunno . . . but I haven’t watched American Idol in years. It’s, like, the same show year after year pretty much.
