Gravity Waves and Dancing Shoes

Gravity Waves as Seen from Space.
Gravity Waves as Seen from Space.

Strong winds hit the Tennessee Valley (not quite where I live, but close enough) on Sunday night. Apparently they were cauzed by a gravity wave. Huh? More so than other weather? Okee-dokee.  More on gravity waves from Wikipedia.

Soon The Little Ones Will Be Dancing Again. In their Dance Shoes. And Leotards. And Batons. And Recital Costumes.

In other completely unrelated and entirely personal news, I’m facing a bleak prospect. The peaceful, dance-class-free era of my life is about to be over. Soon, I will be buying dance shoes and leotards and batons and (ugh!) recital costumes again. Not to mention, having to attend recitals. The things we do for our children.

Of course, my oldest daughter had to have Zappos Dance Shoes. Her friends had them, and nothing else was good enough. Fortunately, she’s all gymnastics now, and we don’t have to worry about dancing shoes. And I think the dance-class era is over for her. And probably piano classes–which is too bad, I think those were a positive, overall. But, kids grow out of stuff. They just do.

The youngest one, however, will probably starting dance classes this summer. She loves to dance. But we don’t have to buy the Zappos. Or anything particularly fancy. Though we will be stuck with the recital costume, because those are always picked out for us by the instructors. Bleh.

BTW, if this topic isn’t “interesting” or “exciting” for my Internet brethren, then you folks start searching for interesting things. I’ve been scouring the Google Trends, and you folks are boring this morning. And most of last week. To the point I find my children’s dance classes for interesting than you. By a long shot. Just so ya know.
